Privacy

• Your name: your first name and the first letter of your last name, the way your card shows it.
• How you sign in: your email address if you sign in with an email code or with Google (and Google’s id for your account). With Face ID or a fingerprint, your phone keeps your face or fingerprint; we only keep the public half of the key it makes, which can’t be used to work out either.
• What you choose to add: your birthday (the month and day, for the birthday treat), your school (for the School Cup) and your mobile number (for pickup orders). All optional.
• Your club activity: your check-ins and stamps, your treats and when they were used, pickup orders (what you ordered, when, and any note), Closing Time Treats you held, creator drinks you made, VIP votes, and the look you picked for your card.
• Where your phone is, once, when you check in with a printed code or the stand at the counter (and with the counter screen’s code, if your phone offers it). We keep that reading and its distance from the shop with the check-in. We never follow your location otherwise.
• Notifications: if you turn them on, the address your browser gives us to send them to.

To run the club: to give you stamps and treats, to know a check-in is really at the shop, to make your order and tell you when it’s ready, to send the sign-in codes you ask for, and to stop the club being gamed. Staff at the counter see your first name and initial, your stamps and treats when you show your card, and your number on a pickup order.

Signing in sets a cookie that keeps you signed in for 90 days, and a second one with your first name so the website can say “Your card” instead of “Join the club”. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

The club runs on Cloudflare, which hosts the website, keeps the club’s database and sends our emails; your details may be stored and processed outside Canada, including in the United States. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google tells us your name and email. We don’t share your details with anyone else, and we never sell them.

• Change your details, turn notifications off, or sign out everywhere in your profile.
• Close your card any time from your profile. We delete your email, phone, birthday, school and sign-in keys, and sign you out everywhere. We keep your first name and initial with your past visits and orders for the shop’s records, with no way to reach you.
